Should people lose their job because of Percieved, Racism/loveism or LGBT distaste

The problem is that if you express your disrespectful opinions outside the job, the chances are some people are going to know you work at that location, and it will still reflect really badly on the business. All it takes is one person to report their posts to the business and then it becomes an issue
Employee relationships can also get you fired, even though they may take place outside of the business. Anything unprofessional that has any link to your business should be taken out immediately

Chances are by telling your boss you would get your pay lowered or fired on the spot, especially in the very far left states.

You use the term "Far left" in order to try to bring politics to a non politics discussion, stop.
Even in the "far left" states if you handle the situation calmly and report the situation to your boss you will suffer no repercussions. Its when you respond back to the customer with insults that you get in trouble. Its the same for your "Far right" states.
EDIT: And he swapped the poll? This is just sad

why? if you work for a company, youre representing that company. if an apple employee posts "i hate spicks" on their facebook page, by not acting on it apple is showing theyre ok with the comment "i hate spicks" being associated with their company. in this instance the employee might just be reprimanded/ordered to take it down, but you get the idea

free speech but i still think the person having the job is a rooster regardless - they should be able to keep their job knowing that several people will probably think that they're a rooster
