I think a business owner should be able to fire someone for any reason they want so if that's their prerogative

When you are directly tribal towards customers you should be fired because then you are hurting your businesses' reputation. if you're personally tribal and keep it to yourself, no. that's just your opinion. Keep your political/hurtful opinions out of business and nobody gets hurt.

If you aren't doing your job (i.e. not giving a marriage certificate to a gay couple) due to your beliefs, then yes you should absolutely lose your job and you should be glad you lost it

impossible to say on a broad basis. its a case-to-case issue. sometimes people are just misinformed, but also sometimes people are starfishs.

Employees should be fired not only for tribal/homophobic/etc attitudes but they should be fired if they upset customers. That's just the broad category and falls under employee conduct

If you're the Boss of a restaurant chain and you let your employees be openly tribal towards customers, pretty soon you won't have any customers, and then you won't have any business either.

If you treat customers or other employees with disrespect regardless of racism, loveism, religion, or lgbt standing you deserve to be fired. Its unprofessional and makes the company look bad if they keep you. Same if you share your believes about how much you want to burn blacks on facebook, the company still has a right to fire you for it.

Interestingly, if a customer walks in and decides to act tribal/loveist or LGBT distastist they can also be forcibly removed by police. So if an SJW walks in and says you deserve to earn less because you're white, technically you can let your manager know and he can call the police and have it sorted out.

You should leave that bubble of yours sometime and actually experience reality. Verbally assaulting or harassing employees is even worse an offense than harassing a customer. Just because you spend time cherrypicking SJW anecdotes on tumblr doesn't mean that the entire country is secretly crucifying white people.

Ask a non-white friend to be tribal towards a white employee at mcdonalds or starbucks and be ready to cover their $500 fine
