Yeah I'm aware it doesn't actually make a difference if they see all the wood there, just made me laugh.

One thing I didn't know was that they nerfed carp? I started to see my stocks of fish going up, and was very surprised to see it was almost all carp. Was expecting to see a few missing dwarfs but they're all accounted for.

carp was nerfed years ago unfortunately (possibly > 5 years? iirc the last time i played about 3 years ago the nerf had been already in place for a year or two)

they were replaced by giant sponges which fortunately are far more deadly

I started a new fort because I didn't realise the lazy newb pack had a x64 beta released. Almost finished off my main sleeping chamber:

Going to add some bigger noble rooms/offices/dining halls around the corners.

Anyone have any suggestions on what's !!FUN!! to do with excess dwarfs? My fort has ~110 and I have around 50 that aren't really being used for anything.

Make them all masons and build something giant outside, like a pyramid or a Annoying Orange wall
