--- Quote from: Otis Da HousKat on March 30, 2017, 11:05:05 PM ---https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_the_United_States_by_state Rifles are long guns. --- End quote --- i think the specific word here is assault rifles. its pretty clear that anything assault wise made easily purchased would only enable more shootings to happen, not lessen it. handguns and home defense weapons like shotguns/rifles, sure, but there's not really any reason to allow access to full assault rifles to the public. the caliber of such rifles also tends to penetrate any armor police/swat members have as well, unless its downscaled for civilians. correct me if im wrong anywhere. i dont have a complete grip on gun laws/definitions/regulations but i've watched and read a bunch of stuff that relates to guns at times so i'm speaking from that memory. |

Mass shootings will happen as long as guns exist and banning a specific type of gun most people don't even own won't solve anything |
