the US flag actually got totally forgeted before the void was even that large, i remember seeing it at one point and then watching as it just became a mess of a jumbled random pixel mess. i didnt see anyone giving a damn about the 5% of it's top left that was left-over until the void started spreading into where the US flag used to be
