The US has extremely powerful allies, which would aid in any sort of battle. Any allies Syria has is other terrorist organizations

If anyone here's too young to remember the Iraq invasion in 2003, the media played a huge role in selling the war to people, and what I've seen from media pundits after yesterday's airstrikes, it sounds exactly like then.

There's the fact they shot at what was a Russian-occupied base. Russia hasn't done many rational things since Sputnik, and that's debatable. These are the same people that fired a rocket launcher at a school to deal with a hostage situation. Can you imagine how bad they'd overreact if we actually killed one of their people?
