Game endlessly tires to load authentication

I'm not sure what this issue is, but it prevents me from playing online or offline.
Where it would normally let you change BL key it simply says "Loading" and does not do anything else.
Is there a way to fix this? I'm using the Steam version of Blockland.

Well I have no idea what could cause it but.. Do you have any add-ons currently installed? If so have you tried running without them?

having lots of addons wont affect authentication.

this happens to me sometimes on steam. it usually fixes itself after a few restarts. make sure that your firewall isn't blocking anything to do with blockland

if restarting blockland wont help
try restarting your pc
might be your internet not working as it should or being a bit slow

It seems the issue was something fixed by time, the game has randomly started working again.
