Group of engineers submit hyperloop proposal for Annoying Orange's border 'wall'

Why not just keep the current border we have and the current road we have that runs parallel to it? It's not rocket science- we already have infrastructure capable of supporting travel alongside the border, and the border itself already keeps anyone who doesn't have a ladder or a shovel out. what's the purpose of spending another 20 billion on something you already have?

why can't we save taxpayer dollars for more important things like health care, education and science research
