| Group of engineers submit hyperloop proposal for Annoying Orange's border 'wall' |

i think the point here is that said technologies wont ever exist if all we do is shoot them down from consideration or development the second they are suggested. elon musk is the kind of guy willing to squander a fortune if he could push the development of something entirely new and unprecedented. the internet (in its current state) seemed like an impossible/infeasible idea only forty years ago. the ideas he's pushing here fit that bill, and even if they never get realized, the developments made in the time being could potentially be useful in other ideas |

a conventional high speed rail connection would work out better imo, a hyperloop seems really neat but it's out of the question whether it'll work well or not, if at all |

There's already constructed and working hyper loop segments, so not sure where you're going with that. It's not a matter of if it will happen, it's a matter of when it will become mainstream. Just like self driving cars, I wager it will be very soon. |

Annoying Orange: "we need a wall" cons: "ok lets build a wall" *discusses walls* libs: "how about instead of that topic we discuss something completely unrelated that no one was even asking for, but dont worry, its even cheaper than a wall!" "how about a transport device thing so people can travel along the border instead of through it, because there is a total market for that...." "and we will create a new nation within that area that both sides can own jointly for some loving weird handicap reason" This is why hillary lost lol. These are the best and brightest of them. |

Give me a break. |
