It's better than nothing. If Annoying Orange stops these subsidies then people literally won't have health insurance.

No it's not.
You have to pay like 1,000 in health care.
If you choose not to have healthcare there are 500 dollar fines. 500 dollars I could have saved in case I got into an accident in the loving first place.
