i would bet a million dollars that this forum couldn't notify 1000 people of anything in 10 hours

It is because the petition hit 70k 2 MONTHS ago. Yet ever since this thread has been up it's gone up almost a thousand signatures in one day, and from then and now there have been over 60 days.

Are you actually asserting that the Left and the Democratic Party was not the party of slavery?

Stephen A. Douglas, Democratic senator and orator, drafted the Kansas-Nebraska act to create the opportunity to allow slavery through popular sovereignty in previously restricted territory.

In the 38th United States Congress, the passage of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution was inhibited, as "the vote split largely along party lines, with Republicans supporting and Democrats opposing."

"The Republican party began as a coalition of anti-slavery "Conscience Whigs" and Free Soil Democrats opposed to the Kansas–Nebraska Act, submitted to Congress by Stephen Douglas in January 1854."

It didn't stop after the civil war, either. They continued to pass laws stripping rights from the Freedmen in areas which they controlled.

Jim Crow Laws were formed by the Democratic Party used paramilitary groups to drive the black freedmen and Republican legislators that were protecting them out. "These Southern, white, Democratic Redeemer governments legislated Jim Crow laws, officially segregating black people from the white population"

The Democrats also formed many paramilitary groups and carried out countless atrocities, the most notable of such groups being the Ku Klux Klan, but that goes without saying, most people likely know that. The Colfax Massacre is one such example of an atrocity committed by Democrat paramilitary groups.

They literally ran on the platform of being the White Man's party, for forgets sake.

You can't be delusional enough to insinuate that the Democratic Party does not have historically tribal roots, while the Republican Party was not formed to free and protect the rights of the former slaves. If you honestly believe that, I really don't know what else to say, because you must be denser than a black hole and about as bright if you can't see the countless pieces of historical evidence which contradict your point.

Again, there are a number of people who were given the link who never opened this thread because people obviously shared the link to the petition itself not the link to the thread.
