Question: Web Domain?

Do any of you guys know of a safe website where I can buy a pretty cheap web domain? Wix is offering $13 just to register for a domain, is this reasonable? Thanks!

use google domains
$12 a year, for the most common TLDs. you're not gonna get anything much cheaper than that. some sites like godaddy offer really low prices of like $3 or something, for the first year, but renewal goes up to like >$20

also a big benefit google offers that nobody else does is free private registration. without that, ANYONE can see your registration information (full name, address, etc), and paying for it on your own can get expensive

Thanks bro! This does seem better because at least I don't have to pay extra for "privacy" protection and it's cheaper than wix.

on namecheap you can get 0.99$ domains or 1.99$ ones

if you have a student email you can also get a .me for free
