Author Topic: [NEWS] my hdmi doesnt work (Read 454 times)

ok so i have this problem with my computer where no matter what hdmi cable i use the tv wont recognize it and wont project my screen to the tv
i tried switching between 3+ cables and none of them seem to work
can anyone help me????

does your computer detect the external monitor? is the tv on the right hdmi port?

i tried using all 3 hdmi ports and i dont think the computer detects the tv

Either the HDMI port on your TV or the port on your GPU / whatever are broken

If possible and there are other connectors, try them and see what happens

i havent checked if there are more ports on my computer, im thinking this is a problem with my new gpu since the last time i did this was in november before i upgraded

Yeah it is your GPU

Try getting a DVI-D (or Display Port) to HDMI cable and try that, it should work then
