conflating a mental disorder with a smoking habit isn't a good way to make your point. transgenderism is kind of involuntary and i'm pretty sure these people would be happy with their biological love if they didn't feel off.

I really don't see why people back up blatant disrespect with religious/political beliefs. It's not because of your religion-you're just being disrespectful. Most LGBT (specifically T in this case) would respect your religion and beliefs. The least you could do is respect them unless they give you a valid and justifiable reason not to.
