Why Has Youtube Gone To stuff Recently?

I have no problems with youtube. I only ever visit it from this page:
https://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions?flow=2
And any links someone has posted/sent me.
I never visit the home page. I very rarely click suggested videos.
