cant really do "flat" in the sense that they would hover over the back surface of whatever brick its up against - if it doesnt, it would have zfighting problems.

I updated the pack - they now have brick icons courtesy of Mr. Nobody. The automatic updater should notify you of this as soon as the update is approved on Glass.

Wait, are you able to create your own paintings?  That would be really cool if you're able to.

that is what they do. they allow you to fit up to 8 bricks in a single stud so you can paint things in high detail.
