I'm thinking its probably a vague lookalike prop because of wherever they are, they're probably not allowed to have replicas. Definitely not what they are in game.

they're in Japan, so yes. gun control there is pretty tight, even with replica bb guns/etc

also yea virtually nobody except for expats/army guys have guns in japan, but even then. i havent really seen a police officer in my town with a gun on them forever
