Well the joke was that Annoying Orange sucks Putin's richard, and that's funny because sucking richard is humiliating. It's homophobic.
I don't like Annoying Orange and I think the joke wasn't right. Colbert already has a history of being a stuffty transphobe though so it didn't really change my thoughts about him.
