| how do you guys think we could get more people to play blockland? |

I really think it's just a lack of server retention more than anything. --- End quote --- now imagine how much more is possible when you have a scripting language that people actually use and you don't restrict certain features for god-knows-why there are more problems then just those 2 i listed as well, like the current building system is hard to pick up and play (fantastic once you master it though.) but there are fantastic systems as well that are incredibly simple yet incredibly useful: like the eventing system. so i'm not blaming it on blockland not using lua per say, but more like hard to pick up (the building system) in some aspects and hard to master (torquescript and the bullstuff restrictions) in other aspects. overall making the entire game hard to pick up and keep playing. |
