Also, to put into context why thinking this is a /really bad idea/, allow me to state a similar argument in similar terms:
"I don't need vaccines! I have common sense, I won't get sick!"
In conjunction with an antivirus it's decent, sure, but don't trust your sense to save you.

Despite what people say about avg, its still a handy little program that blocks adware. That's the only thing i get actually, i never experience any major attacks unless i know im going somewhere/downloading something sketchy. Even then if i do find myself in a situation where i have contracted a virus, avg is quick to isolate and quarantine.

i use Bitdefender tbh but i dunno if its good thats just what my dad recommends, and he works with security stuff so i'd like to think his choice is good
