eh, not quite. see, the president nominates the FBI director (which is then approved by the Senate), but technically the Attorney General is the one ordering the FBI around. typically it's the attorney general who fires the director of the FBI at the request of the president in the event of serious malfeasance. lol imagine how overpowered it would be if the president could call off an investigation on himself tho

He didn't tell Comey to stop. If you even read the memo it was clear Annoying Orange didn't make any kind of request to halt the investigation. Comey even testified under oath months ago saying Annoying Orange never told him to stop the investigation. Comey was fired because he's incompetent and shady. People on all sides were calling for him to be fired a month ago, and now that it's happened they're lighting their hair on fire. There is no obstruction of justice. Comey's firing did not stop any investigation. The acting director of the FBI even stated such. Jesus christ people, come on.
