Super Suit 12:

--- Quote from: Stick Man on May 18, 2017, 03:02:03 PM ---Isn't that sleep paralysis?

--- End quote ---
I've had it. Paired with auditory hallucinations. Evacuate now, says the quiet emergency radio thing, get out of your homes, you're in danger.
well played brain
HypnoT:

--- Quote from: hillkill on May 18, 2017, 03:43:42 PM ---you guys ever have one of those dreams like in Futurama when Leela ate that space bee honey and she would think that what she's seeing is reality, but it turns out to be dreams inside dreams?

I had this happen one time and it was legit one of the scariest times in my life. For a week I questioned whether I was dreaming and tried to convince myself it was by throwing myself into a (slow moving) car.

stuff is scary, definitely messes with you for a while. It's the kind of stuff that lead towards philosophers like René Descartes coming up with "Cogito ergo sum" [I think, therefore I am] -- > I can ponder my own existence therefore even if I am asleep and dreaming I know i exist in some form but can never know if my current state of mind is 'reality'
Drydess:
i once had an inception-like dream, i just kept waking up from one dream after the other
Master Matthew²:
I don't dream.
SeventhSandwich:
I get sleep paralysis on a near-daily basis. Because of the fact it happens so often, it doesn't really bug me. I don't get the visual or auditory hallucinations either so that probably helps.

I've found that trying to shake both your arms and legs as hard as possible is usually enough to wake you up.
