OP, to be honest, I wouldn't invest too heavily into making sure the laptop can game, because believe it or not once you hit college your life's gonna kick into overdrive. last year i bought a laptop that could handle gaming and the only times i've gamed on it have been bad times (i.e. finals week, 8 hours before a string of 3 exams) or while i'm at home and too lazy to boot up desktop. especially if you have a ps4 that you can use to play aaa games, don't give yourself the temptation of staying up all night / staying at your dorm/wherever you'll be instead of going out and doing stuff with people you meet. idk, just my 2 cents i guess |
