if it wasn't clear enough, my argument was that the climate of the regions is, in fact, the reason for the individuals to feel inclined toward terrorism, rather than islam. i'm clarifying because you appear to be asserting that islam->terrorism as substance for the argument that islam->terrorism, which seems nonsensical to me given the context. my argument was not an attempt to wave away or excuse the actions of terrorists, it was offering an alternate, more likely explanation as to why they might decide to become terrorists.

that criteria is entirely subjective so yes.

The point of freedom of speech and religion is that its not loving selective. there are people in this thread that believe that islam should be destroyed and thats fine. There are also people out there that believe christianity should be destroyed. If you want to get offended by one and not the other, fine. But that doesnt mean we can selectively forget one group over

Why a criminal becomes a criminal is irrelevant, breaking a law is a choice.

Becoming a terrorist is a choice.

More importantly, this won't change anything now.
