i do wonder what happened to cause this. i don't think it's a phenomenon contained just to these forums, it seems like politics has worked its way into a lot of places where it didn't used to be relevant. i thought maybe i was just imagining this, but i took a little while to look back a good ways in OT and i'm really not, the kind of heated politics we have here now really is something that i think is very recent. there's always been some politics here and there, but never on this scale. it'll probably subside eventually, but it sucks that it's gotten this way man, and i don't think this is just nostalgia talkin when i say that i feel like the climate here was legitimately much more nice and inviting in the past |
