Author Topic: Anyone here into 3D printing?  (Read 723 times)

Currently looking at breaking into 3D printing. Budget is preferably $1000-$1500 (AUD).

So far I'm reasonably interested in the Flashforge Creator Pro. Generally I'm after dual print heads and being able to print with at least PLA and ABS.

Anyone got any suggestions or tips?

I want one but I'm basically broke

Clearly you should just stop being poor

I mean my family has a rep-rap or whatever it's called I have no clue
one of the ones you build yourself and then print and sell parts for so others can build them
I've used it, but only a few times

my college has free workshops with 3D printers in them that you can just use for whatever and judging from what I've seen and used there you're gonna want a MakerBot

only one you could really afford though is the Mini so

IDK

3d printers sound cool, but to buy one you have to burn a lot of money.

Some of them seem to be pretty cheap, only a couple of hundred bucks. Even the spools of plastic are a lot cheaper than I thought.

got like 5 3d printers at school and i 3d printed the no mans sky spaceship

Settled on the flashforge creator pro. Going to put in the order tomorrow, ends up being around 1500 once I add the simplify3d software.

I might make a thread in creativity showing my prints once I get to that stage
