--- Quote from: Master Matthew² on May 24, 2017, 03:09:34 PM ---As it would turn out, the earliest form of human now known to exist was found in Europe, which is over 7 million years old. The new form commonly known as
"El Graeco" proved that evolution was in progress in Europe Approximately 200 Millennium before even the previous oldest fossils found in Africa. The Researchers
claim this will entirely change the earliest known parts of human history, as well as finding the missing link between humans and chimps.

--- End quote ---
It depends on what you mean by 'earliest form of human'. All evidence still suggests Homo sapiens first appeared in Africa, although this study might prove that hominids in general first appeared in Europe.
