It wouldn't be the first time someone got banned for something outside of BL.
Remember, Badspot can make decisions on his own, it's not a 'to the book' thing. He's shown this several times. Even recently.

Badspot has indicated he doesn't morally support banning people for things that happen outside of the BLF
