Any good, free editing softwares?

I have a ton of footage saved up from gameplay and I want to edit it but I lost my windows movie maker when wiping my PC due to lag and now it's not available for download. I tried to download it but it wont work without some .dll and windows essentials, so I'd rather get a new one.
Anyone got a good, safe and free video editor link? I'd really appreciate it.

setup will actually install the program, portable is for something like a flash drive

setup, only download portable if you are putting it on flash drive or if your parents made it so you cannot install stuff without an admin password.
