you and I must be looking at different holy books because "thou shalt not kill" is a Christian commandment and in the Qu'ran I read it states that the only surefire way to get into heaven is to kill an infidel in jihad
I am reading all three books. The old testament, the new testament and the Qu'ran. Interestingly if you are Christian, you may find in the old testament that it commands us to kill gay people as it is going against one of the commandments in the second temple. It also says in the old testament that only men can divorce their wives, meaning if a wife wants a divorce and the man doesn't want one then they have to stay together. If these rules were kept today there would be outrage. This is the same as the Qu'ran and these laws are not kept, this is known is reform Judasim, reform Christianity and reform Islam. The modernized version. People at the Westborobapsit church believe in these laws and put them up to the extreme
I am not homophobic nor do I discriminate and keep these rules. They are extreme, they are not kept today and despite that being said in the Qu'ran my muslim friends do not want to kill me
EDIT:

Do we make blood sacrifices anymore?
