First exit poll

Conservatives might fall short of a majority
Ukip: 0
Lol

ukip more like urip amirite hehehe

Just to explain to any Americans who don't know how the system works here, there are 650 seats across the UK. Each constituency votes for an MP to represent them, who then takes one of those seats.
Whichever party holds a MAJORITY of seats can then formally request the monarch to form a government.
If no majority is met, then there will either be a recount, re-vote, or a coalition government will be formed between parties who can form a majority together.

We should see some of the first results come in the next 10-20 minutes from Sunderland or Newcastle, so stay tuned!

so no one has a majority and labour/tories are not looking for coalitions

how does having a stuffty election feel you crumpets

Amazing because Theresa May will have to resign for stuffting the bed

May is a stuffty candidate yeah

if you had someone fun like Boris Johnson this wouldn't have happened

First 2 seat result in
Newcastle Upon Tyne Central:Labour
Sunderland: Labour

Boris Johnson is not popular in the slightest since the last referendum. It would have most likely been a similar outcome.

Another great part of Labour overperforming is seeing Obama's 2012 campaign manager Jim Messina get pantsed after working for the Conservatives

So go forget yourself Jim Messina you opportunistic bastard

all the major parties have ruled out coalitions except tories

also the gains in Sunderland are bigger for tories than labour

completely off topic but why does the uk have completely forgeted city names

Yeah, at the moment there is no visible coalition at all. Everyone has said they won't form one pretty much, so we're almost for sure heading directly for a hung parliament and whatever that may hold for an outcome.

also the gains in Sunderland are bigger for tories than labour
I mean that really has no impact in the result; they've won the seat which is a pretty black and white situation.

Labour's outperforming YouGov's model (which has Tories at 302 seats) in Sunderland by 3%
