I've always wondered, how do those suitless fursuits work? I assume the arms and paws aren't one thing, because i can see a bit of your left wrist, but how far up do the sleeves, and the feet for that matter, go?

Yeah basically, though I've seen some suits where the paws and sleeves are all one, the sleeves go to above your shoulders or right around the armpit. I'd say the feet go up to just a bit above your ankle, some are longer but they generally stay in that area.

It's called a partial suit
The armsleeves and handpaws are separate. It's not my wrist you see, but rather the finished edge of the paw coming untucked from under the armsleeve. It happens a lot because the paws only go about 1/3 of the way up my forearm, I wish they went like 2/3 so they didn't get untucked as easily

The armsleeves are two separate pieces which go from the wrist to over the shoulder and under the armpit, with a piece of elastic attached at the shoulders to keep tension to prevent them from slipping down.

The feetpaws go about halfway up my lower leg. You can see a crease in my pants, especially the right leg, where they end

i feel like id be a bigger fan of suits like this if they put more effort into the clothes

I have two blue shirts with red panda prints, which when i bought, I specifically ordered them with a blue that matches my suit with intention to wear it in suit
If I go to a con or something where I need more than two shirts then I have to wear something else for a few days, but otherwise those two shirts are my first choice with wearing in suit

The other friend who was suiting at this photoshoot in a new partial he got picked up a black jacket specifically for wearing with that suit.

I have a friend with a crow-gryphon partial, and he bought a really nice suit from our local Renaissance Fair to go with it.

Partials can work well, but you have to think of the clothing that goes with it as part of the costume, and not just "something to cover up the remaining skin". I could probably put in a bit more effort than "a shirt that matches the fur color" but I'm fairly happy with this for the time being
