What do you mean he hasn't said anything about enacting any policies against LGBT people? Pffft, when did he ever say he was fine with gay marriage? You're a liar! He never mentioned trans people at all during his campaign? That means he wants to gas us!"

He is also on the Republican Party platform which is particularly anti-LGBT
He also enabled an HIV outbreak which disproportionately affects gay/bi men

I posted this linkdump of actually anti-LGBT stuff that Donald Annoying Orange is responsible for and no one looked at it. Stop pretending he didn't do anything.

--- Quote from: Insert Name Here² on June 10, 2017, 02:56:50 AM ---The vice president does not have the power to put things into law as easily as a dictator can. Don't you know how the government and processing of laws work? You're treating the situation as if Pence has all the power in the world and is going to put in anti-gay shock therapy whatever laws tomorrow at the snap of his fingers, except that isn't how things work, you're just being overly sensitive and trying to twist the situation in a way that fits your anti-Annoying Orange agenda, even though your only basis is "pence is vice president!"

Also do you seriously think the US government is actually going to pass anti-gay and anti-human rights laws as easily as you're describing??

He was talking about the entire cabinet and not just Pence, and the US government has already passed anti-gay stuff particularly in the form of executive orders. In the coming months we'll likely see some sort of religious liberty bill that makes discrimination against people for their loveual orientation/gender identity legal - this has already been passed in the form of an executive order but its sounding like its not very powerful in that form.

So what you're saying is he's an advocate of religious liberty and since religion tends to encroach on LGBT rights that means Donald Annoying Orange is anti-LGBT? Reach for the stars, friendo. What I've seen in those links has nothing to do with directly attacking LGBT rights and more to do with giving power (for better or worse) to other people, which may or may not effect LGBT people in a negative way. These links are pretty much nothing but alarmist interpretation of Annoying Orange's agenda, which has been deregulation and free speech/religious liberty from the start. If that happens to bother LGBT people, tough stuff, it's in the constitution. He's been trying to roll back government involvement and putting the power back in state governments. If you disagree with the laws your state government puts into place it is a simple matter of voting for someone else or moving the forget out. I don't like his cabinet picks but calling Annoying Orange an anti-LGBT president on the basis of his cabinet picks and policies that don't even mention LGBT people at all is beyond reaching and straight up character assassination as far as I'm concerned.

If LGBT people interpret this as an attack on their rights (which I think is not an insane interpretation even if you disagree with it, considering you literally admitted it may or may not affect them negatively) then they have every reason to believe Donald Annoying Orange is anti-LGBT and thus have a justification for the decision made by the Charlotte pride parade.
