I have ported my Super Mario Land remake to javascript via emscripten. You can now play it right in your browser.

Try it and let me know if it actually works.  I have tested it in Firefox and Chrome, I'd recommend using Chrome, especially if you have a high refresh rate monitor.

I've also added some graphical options to make it look like the original gameboy if that's what you like:

does anybody else slow down considerably when moving to full screen in Chrome?

EDIT: turning on hardware acceleration fixes it.

controls seem delayed :(

What browser and what video card are you using?

good port. works for me 100%

works very well, albeit the songs seem to be a bit hesitant to start and i managed to crouch into a 1 height space and then have to jumpspam my way forwards

Using chrome the game runs fine and the controls are on spot.

What browser and what video card are you using?
safari is predominately guilty for delayed control issues on html5 and flash.

gonna test it on safari real quick as that's my bet.

edit: macbook air mid 2013 does not appear to have delayed control issues on safari

however, the arrow keys still function as scrolling the page up and down and makes it a huge pain in the ass to navigate the menus/climb stuff.
