regardless of it's legitimacy the point still stands

Not really, it's not really backed by history. The middle east has been a Pretty Great Place To Live up until the 20th century. Exactly why is due to a handful of factors over the course of many generations that I'm not exactly up to date on myself to argue about, but the point is that our intervention certainly didn't help. I would argue that we did do some help, but our efforts were ultimately misguided, and ended up indirectly causing harm.

Also love the "brownies" touch, you smug tribal piece of stuff.

--- End quote ---

The millions of people dislocated from their homes are not our problem. We have no obligation to help these people whatsoever, regardless of any past or current actions we have or are taking in their place of origin. As I stated earlier, the only people that should even be considered refugees are Syrians. Everyone else is an economic migrant taking advantage of the fact that refugees get set up real nice and easy once they get in to whatever country allows them to leech.
This "help the brownies" thing I'm referring to comes from people who infantilize brown people, such as yourself. You make it seem like these millions of people are completely incapable of doing anything in their countries without our help. Maybe that's true for places like Syria, but other places? Not so much. The Middle East will continue to be a stuffhole while people do nothing but run from it. Also, I'm not tribal. Stop calling me tribal, it's annoying. I have no will towards anyone because of their race, and I never will, because I would never be so shallow as to attribute negativity to a loving skin color.

--- End quote ---

ignoring the fact that you just asked why hypernationalists hate foreigners-

1. the middle east has been a wasteland ever since giant empires began to fight over the fertile crescent

2. the US funded the mujahideen, deposed secular iran and destabilized iraq by deposing saddam hussein, but they didn't turn it into a wasteland

3. people hate refugees in the EU migrant crCIA because most of them aren't from iraq or syria. that is to say, most migrants in the migrant crCIA are economic migrants masquerading as refugees because they know they get handouts in the EU. on a slightly different note, german crime statistics have shot up starting from when the migrant crCIA began.

4. many refugees are peaceful, genuine asylum seekers who are willing to integrate into western society. no influential group debates this, and most of them go unheard of because they don't have a victim complex

the only periods of time where the middle east was great were:

1. when it was contrasting europe in the dark ages. saying it was great based off of europe being stuff is like defaulting to the "better than Riddler" argument

2. when the ottomans had control up until the 1700s. the golden age ottomans were incredibly tolerant and pragmatic, not gonna lie
