Slayer Search and Destroy

I'm trying to play search and destroy but every time, it spawns everyone in random locations. I set the spawns and nothing happens. Do I have to set it up a certain way?

are you using slayer spawns? are you using slayer teams? are the spawns correctly colored and match the team color?

There should be an option in Slayer that says 'Use player spawns'
Make sure you enable it and anything else having to do with that

the gamemode has been broken and hasn't had support for years now as far as I know, pretty sure it's not functional for play
