Lego Starwars movie 05 looks weird

Boy have we came far from the Lego Movie. This looks weird as forget.
Old lego movies follow the rubber bendy animations like stuffty tell tale games. While the lego movie follows traditional stop motion animation but it's CG.

The bendy rubber bullstuff is mainly why I hate the new lego games. It feels unnatural and lazy.
