My ears are small, and those earcups are still too small and would press on my ear rather than rest around it. When I have headphones that rest on ear instead of over ear, it causes my ear to swell up due to the constant pressure
Mr. Hurricane:
Razer Electra

Only thing is their scheme is black and a bright green, and they look pretty large.

Can't find anywhere to buy these. They aren't on the Razer website, and on Newegg they're near 100 dollars, they're not on Amazon either.
Planr:
This is a little over your budget but they are a really good and very reliable set of headphones. I've been using them for several years and they are great. Excellent sound and comfortable to wear.

just get a condenser microphone if you care about mic quality more

i can't really suggest you any headphones that are exactly $40 other than just suggesting plantonics 818 which is twice the price you're saying, i kinda used headphones that are more than $40 but i think you should look into plantonics

don't try corsair or razer brands btw, i've had stuffty experience with corsair's drivers and razer synapse software is just godawful.
