| what are some good free picture-editing software that is compatible with cintiq |

I'm getting a cintiq tablet in the next couple of weeks, and I'm trying to figure out how everything works beforehand so I can get ready for when it ships I understand that cintiq uses photo-editing software like paint.net and PhotoShop but I don't know exactly what it's compatible with and I don't want to spend more money trying to figure that out /title I'm particularly looking for something as close to PhotoShop as possible that's free and can work with cintiq tablets |

you're probably going to want something that can take advantage of the features like pressure sensitivity and other pen functions. try smth like krita, firealpaca, or medibang paint. i've used mostly firealpaca of those three and i'm p sure it's the least sophisticated of the bunch. i'm assuming you got a cintiq for drawing so those would probably be a good fit, not sure of good free software specifically for photography tho if that's smth you need. if it is for drawin tho, down the line, i would defo recommend clip studio paint |
