The only reason one person would delegitimize an entire half of the political spectrum in your eyes is because you would rather find a justification for your dislike of the left than consider the beliefs of people you have been socialized to disagree with.

As I'm sure he's said a thousand times he doesn't owe anyone respect if they don't give it to him. That's an unrealistic expectation to have of people. It's not crazy to be disrespectful of people who default to disrespecting people.
