Personally when i do drink milk, (which i don't really drink milk on a daily basis) i like warm milk when im about to go to sleep and i like cold milk when im eating breakfast in the morning.

the colder the water, the better
room temperature water is barely acceptable, i would never drink warm or hot water
water is also the only drink i put a lot of ice in, i'll usually put a little ice in a drink when i get it from a fountain so it stays cold, but too much and you're wasting beverage volume and it'll get diluted
