mediafire now blocks you out when using an adblocker
PhantOS:
if i ignore what you say its probably because i'm still editing my response. go back and reread
Verification:
What the heck is an ad that isn't a monopoly? The onlg malicious ads shown are done on purpose.
PhantOS:
--- Quote from: The Murderous Cop on July 15, 2017, 08:42:32 AM ---this statement is very false because there are several ad partners, and sites like the cutting room floor rent out friendly non intrusive ads to regularass people

non intrusive ads? what fine line defines what is 'intrusive' and 'nonintrusive' when they all lead to some bullstuff you don't even want to see in the first place? just don't click the ads, and if there's a popup that's probably a hardcoded javascript ad that activates whenever you click on the actual website itself
none of this is mediafire's choice, they don't have a say in what ads loving appear in their spaces. if you don't like it, send an email to the ad agency that is providing them with those ads

ad revenue agencies compile a list of loving ads that companies directly pay for and then they provide those ads to spaces that are set on the website. there's no direct decision that mediafire can make regarding the content of the ads that they receive, and your suggestion to 'just choose google ads' is essentially criticizing a private organization's choice on what ad agency they prefer to use
PhantOS:
this whole mantra about them choosing the very specific ad agency that fits your preference is autistic.
imagine if you went to a ball game and they offered you complementary gatorade, and you threw a fit suddenly like "how dare you serve gatorade here! it's an unhealthy beverage! the owners of this baseball game should be ashamed of themselves for not providing vitamin water! its clearly 100% their fault"
before you say something like 'at least they dont force you to drink it' its just an brown townogy

intrusive: popups, video ads, popunders (i swear to loving god these are the worst)
nonintrusive: small static image/gif ads, partner links
this is why i always unblock ads on sites like webcomics and such
