About to turn 18, definitely going to buy a sword, not sure what to buy

Well not exactly a sword, but some form of melee weapon like a machete. I was going to go hunting and wanted a badass melee weapon of some sort. Any sword suggestions or whatever? I already have a Bowie knife but idk if I should get something better.
