Anyone have a good DAC/AMP they could suggest?

But nowhere near as effective. Yes, its a cheap solution, but why waste the $10? I know that might make me sound like a cheapskate, but Metario's suggestion might even work as good as that software but you know, free of charge.

Or utterly useless if the gear he has now isn't great to begin with.
