Gimp and Photoshop take years to start up because of how they load up a billion plugins, effects, etc, Paint.Net really is the fastest of the group and it only takes slightly more than a second to start up compared to MS Paint Alternatively, you can just use the Snipping Tool, which seems to start up as fast as MS Paint |
