I guess get some mexican food while you're here. I think thats a pretty big stereotype about people in SoCal. Ive never had mexican food in any other state though so I cant compare

i was spoiled by california mexican food and it all tastes like garbage nowadays unless i'm there
look for the sort of non-franchise places you'd see in a shopping mall, those are the best, although honestly they're all amazing
