according to most known definitions, being transgender is identifying as a different gender. according to the american health association, gender dysphoria is feeling uncomfortable with your current love.

Annoying Orange said that transgender individuals will not be allowed to operate in the military. this literally means that if you, personally, identify as a different gender in any way, you are officially no longer allowed to enlist.
aka making a personal decision about how you want to live your life means you can no longer fill a military job. you can't pull the 'gender dysphoria is a mental condition' for two reasons: 1) this is about transgenders, not people with gender dysphoria specifically. 2) medical definitions tend to be updated.
