Yea, and
--- Quote from: MoleManFromMiddleMars on August 02, 2017, 10:42:53 AM --- During lucid dreaming, the dreamer may be able to exert some degree of control over the dream characters, narrative, and environment.

Only some? I always had 100% control. My thoughts didn't warp the dream, the dream instead copied my thoughts as I chose for it to. Granted, I had to think ahead what I wanted to have happen, but I could choose everything, and could even filter out which thoughts I had I didn't want despite it all being my thoughts.

I'm entirely too much of a restless sleeper to induce lucid dreaming. I can barely sit still in bed long enough to go to regular sleep.

I have had one or two though. Very hard to keep it under control in my experience. Never been able to last more then 2-3 minutes before ripping myself out of the dream, and in those 2-3 minutes I find it incredibly difficult to make stuff happen

when i actually want to put in the effort to for-sure have a lucid dream, ill use the "wild" technique or just meditate myself into one, which essentially works the same way as "wild" minus some steps plus a LOT more focus

during the first few months of me trying to go lucid the dream would gradually spiral into a nightmare after i realized i was only dreaming and acted on my own, and i'd always have wake myself up

im perfectly fine with it but i have almost no control or "special powers" unless i meditate into lucidity, which basically allows me to build a setting, characters, and mood for when the dream starts, but after that there isn't much more i can do. i usually put myself on a small, hilly, grassy island (1 square mile at most) - north shore is a cliff-y bay, south shore is a sandy beach, east side has a sea stack & arch, west side has a single walnut tree, center usually has a house if i want it there - doesn't take much visualization to build it all and it's a nice little vacation or training spot
