it looks amazing and plays better than it looks
unfortunately my 1080 isn't very mobile, so if I'm at class or traveling I'm stuck with a NVidia 980m

i have a frickin rx 560 w/ 4gb that runs everything on max for $130 lol
it only uses 40 watts if i underclock the core some which doesnt actually seem to impact performance a ton

if you're only doing 1080p then yeah spending 600 dollars on a gpu is massive overkill
I'm doing 1080p yet I only need a GT 1030 to play my games perfectly lol
