The Autobiography by Vic Mensa just came out and I'm really pleasantly surprised with it. It makes me really emotional esp. this song I think it's all true stuff (hence the name) which makes it that much more touching Also Tyler the Creator focuses a lot on lyrics and telling a story and while I personally don't like the newest albums (Cherry Bomb, Flower Boy) I really like Wolf and Bastard. Childish Gambino's Because the Internet is another good album and I think it's supposedly really deep and has an entire script and stuff but I never really got into that. This is actually the song that first got me into rap. I've probably listened to this song well over 200 times. I've been listening to a lot of Joey Bada$$ recently and I think he and his group Pro Era are all really talented. Try listening to his most recent album All American Bada$$. it slaps MF DOOM is a little bit more old style rap but I think he was one of the first people to take rap to a new level of storytelling and I know Tyler the Creator was influenced by his work.
